Peryl Starlight is the main character in my current WIP. He’s curious, ambitious, and wants to help reshape the world with moral and equal values. Like most of us, he’s insecure and doubts that he can achieve such a colossal task. But if we are to survive, someone has to lead the way.
Some of us read, draw, colour, cook, run, walk, or listen to music. For me, it has always been writing. Whether it’s writing songs or novels, a pencil on paper has always cured what ails me. ✌ Rai
An update on my quest to turn With Little Means into a film. I’ve reached out to local indie directors and producers and have made some valuable connections! Seeds have been planted and beginning to sprout……stay tuned ✌Rai
Music has always been a big part of Raimo’s life. In his early 20’s, Raimo was the singer/songwriter in a band called, Cranney. His first book, The Kingdom of Grape, originated as a song. Tired of writing personal heartbreak songs, he wanted to write something completely different. Thus, The Kingdom of Grape was born. You can hear some of that music on his YouTube channel below.
Musicians of Barrie and area have come together to raise money for local charities in the crazy time of 2020/21 and the Covid-19 outbreak. Raimo played live! featuring songs from his novella, With Little Means. You can see his performance through the link below.
