I am starting a fundraiser in hopes of raising enough funds to turn the inspiration behind my novel, WITH LITTLE MEANS, into a Short Film! The film will be partially based on my true life story. In my twenties, I was a touring musician until I became ill and had to give up on my dream. I was diagnosed with Crohn’s and Ulcerative Colitis and now live with an ostomy. I hope this film will help ease the stigma of living with a disability and inspire those going through the same struggle to always follow their dreams. The funds will go towards producing a Short Film, which will be submitted to film festivals like TIFF and CANNES. I am working with a fellow Canadian actor, and we are excited to work with creative Canadian indie filmmakers.
