“Stuck” A short film inspired by Raimo Strangis and his novel, “With Little Means”

This short film strides to shed a light on the physical and mental hardships surrounding ostomy surgery and life afterward. Directed and written by the award-winning Dan Abramovici and Produced by Stagg Forrest Films. “Stuck” is a raw, bold, and emotional film with Michael Pillarella and Karen Knox delivering exceptional performances. The film was graciously supported by Ostomy Canada Society. The film made its world premiere in Hollywood, California at the historic Chinese Theatre as part of the Dances With Films Festival on Sunday June 23rd 2024. STUCK had its NYC premiere at the Regal Union Square in Manhattan, NY and had its Canadian Premiere the Hamilton Film Festival. STUCK also and won a first place award at the Barrie Film Festival.
