With Little Means

Raimo Strangis

Pub Date: 11/17/2020

This book took me by surprise! I knew it was about a musician getting a second chance at his lost career, but I wasnโ€™t quite expecting this. In zero to sixty it goes from what feels like a memoir to a sci-fi, reality-hopping story.

Rai had once been in the rock band Divine Light; he was living his dream. But he became ill and was forced to give up his music career. Now at forty, he is happily married, with two kids. He is approached by a reality TV show called ๐˜™๐˜ฆ๐˜ฎ๐˜ข๐˜ณ๐˜ฌ๐˜ข๐˜ฃ๐˜ญ๐˜ฆ, which showcases people who had to give up on their dreams.

Rai soon learns this is not some talent show. This is a trip back in time through new science that allows you to experience your memories as virtual reality. Sounds pretty cool until the past starts to mess withโ€ฆ
